This yarn is great for warm-weather scarves and shawls that focus on the texture, cables, lace and other detailed patterns.  Soy, like many cellulose (vegetable) fibres, has very little stretch and while it drapes well, can "grow" and not bounce back fully, like wool.  Therefore, this yarn is not recommended for socks.

The colourway is called "Wave Maidens". "Also called Billow Maidens, these nine Scandinavian giantesses - Atla, Augeia, Aurgiafa, Egia, Gialp, Greip, Iarnsaxa, Sindur, Ulfrun - were daughters of the sea goddess Ran. When they favoured a sailor, they played in the waves around his ship, pushing him forward to his destination."

This soy version of the "Wave Maidens" colourway is a simple subtle-solid - many shades of blue all stemming from the blending of three blue dyes - dark blue, ice blue and sky blue.
