This colourway is a subtle solid bright red, using shades of one colour to give an overall blended effect with touches of lighter and darker, or more and less saturation, over the skein. This yarn is great for socks or other projects that focus more on the texture, cables, lace and other detailed patterns.

Anat is "the great goddess of the Ugaritic pantheon (who) had four separate aspects: warrior, mother, virgin, and wanton. “Mother of nations,” she remained “Virgin” in spite of being “Mistress of All Gods”; she never lost her hymen despite her promiscuity. Creator of her people, she could also be a blood-thirsty killer who went berserk and destroyed every living thing within reach. The energy she personified was immense – no less than life itself all its ecstatic and terrifying aspects. The goddess of desire, Anat was the favoured sex partner of her brother Baal…Her rage for blood was equally noteworthy…Anat was later fused with Asherah, a less noticeably contradictory goddess.
